The Brno Exhibition Centre is not just a place for hosting exhibitions and trade fairs, but also offers space and opportunities for all kinds of experiments. In the past, unique structures were built here, and new construction materials and technologies were tested. Today, autonomous vehicles and drones are being tested on the grounds.
A guided tour of the exhibition center with the chief architect of the area, Lenka Štěpánková, will provide a different perspective on its history, focusing on new experimental building technologies that have been tested here in the past with varying degrees of success. In addition, the tour will introduce the new development project of the living laboratory, BVV Living Lab, which allows the exhibition center to provide space not only for trade fairs but also for the testing and development of innovations, such as drones and autonomous vehicles.
